Dr Babu Palani has joined Dr Bhalla from the 1/11/2016 as a partner, he will be working full time along with Dr Bhalla in providing quality care to all our patients.
Dr Prakasha Ghandi is a locum Doctor, she (female) has regular Friday morning sessions, she is very popular with all our patients especially the female patients.
RGN, Asthma & Diabetes, Our practice nurse is the only nurse and works Full time. she has been working with Dr Bhalla since 2008.
Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.
Practice Nurse carries out tasks such as childhood immunisation, smear tests, travel vaccination, wound management, chronic disease management, Health checks including blood pressure measurement, Urine Dip Tests, Health promotion such as weight management, Smoking Cessation, Alcohol Awareness and new patient checks. We also perform ear syringing, ECG, Spirometery, Flu clinics, medication reviews, telephone consultations.
Mrs Sukhbinder Uppal
Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as blood pressure measurement, Urine Dip Tests, Health promotion such as weight management, Smoking Cessation, Alcohol Awareness and new patient checks. Thay Triage patients before Doctors consulatation They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
Mrs Sukhbinder Uppal has been working in the community ( Dr Bhalla practice) since 1991, she has created a very tight bond and relationship with the patients and wishes to continue with providing quality care towards all our patients.
Mrs Balwir Kaur Chaggar has been part of Dr Bhalla & Partners team since June 1996. Her role is listed below:-
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
Narindera Rani who is known by the name of Nina has been working with Dr Bhalla's practice since 1997.
Rajinder Kaur has been working with Dr Bhalla since March 2000.
Jasvinder Kaur Known as Jay is the main receptionist, she deals with all the insurance work, she has been working with Dr Bhalla since 2007.
